Finally, Our 2020 Theme

It took us nineteen days to discuss, develop and agree on the World Speech Day theme for 2020:

Let’s speak on it – Transformation.

BTW, the speech shall be between 2 to 5 minutes long.

Bigger and Better

We can tell you that next year’s edition of World Speech Day is bigger and better!

But don’t take our word for it!

Registration opens on January 02, 2020!

Cuteness Overload at World Speech Day

Children are an integral part of World Speech Day here in Kuala Lumpur.

The children from Balsans Creative Kidz had participated in WSD 2019 and I have received indication that they will join us again in 2020!

We can all expect cuteness overload!

Speak in Bahasa Malaysia

At World Speech Day, you may speak in any language (and dialect) you wish because when it comes to speaking – it’s not the language, but the message that’s important.

At World Speech Day, we embrace ‘unexpected voices’!

And as Malaysians, it's even better if you speak in the national language!

Please join us on Sunday, March 15, 2020 and speak to the world!

A Date with Us in Melaka

Keep a date with us in Melaka on March 15, 2020.

That’s because we will be celebrating World Speech Day there. Besides, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

CV+ are joining hands with World Speech Day (Singapore) to bring this public speaking event to historic Melaka. A chance for you to speak and get your voice heard!

After all, Mohammed Qahtani, 2015 Toastmasters’ Public Speaking champion – I met him in Penang in May 2017 – has this to say: “Words have power, words are power, words could be your power”.

Pick the city where you wish to speak – and be there on this day of speeches and speechmaking. Sunday, March 15, 2020.

Targeting the Filipino Community

This year, at World Speech Day, we saw 8 Filipinos resident in Malaysia taking part in our inaugural event in Kuala Lumpur.

In recognition of that, I have developed 2 posters especially targeted to this community. Certainly, I am hoping even more Filipinos will take part in next year’s edition of World Speech Day!

Likewise for WSD Malaysia

And I should do the same for WSD Malaysia too:
