World Speech Day Culture

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

World Speech Day Global Network launched a new initiative, World Speech Day Culture, in which they encourage people from all over the world to record short speeches on video an aspect of their culture that they would like to celebrate and share. 

This might be a work of art, or a national dance, or a festival, or simply a local custom or behavior – anything which brings the fabric of society together and transmits values from one generation to another. It is their hope that by getting people to talk about their culture, we can all gain unique insights into what matters to people (rather than the views of so-called experts) and that this may build into a fascinating view of the world we live in. 

Of course, WSD Kuala Lumpur and CV+ are participating. Below, please find the first 3 videos that we have received:

WSD World Children's Day Continues in 2022

This World Speech Day event makes a return – but instead of November 20 which is the actual day for World Children’s Day, we’re moving it to December 20. This is because of Malaysia’s general election scheduled on November 19.
