World Speech Day is Finally Here!

In our humble opinion, WSD-KL was a spectacular success!

We apologize we didn't manage to upload any pictures yesterday – we were really very busy. To be honest, the three of us (Cyril, Victor and Lucky) were fully stretched!

Anyway, this post will be the first of many!

Thanks, everybody for making the above happen!

Special mention must be made to: D80 Toastmasters, Chew Ban Seng, Dr. Ernest Chen and Richard Ong for introducing us to World Speech Day;

VanPeak Pte Ltd, UNIRAZAK and The Edge;

All the mini-workshop presenters: Karen Sze Tho, Laughter Yoga Malaysia; Dr. Simon Chin, TraqKids, Ahmad Fakhri & Jamilah Samian, Cook Mom Super Dad; Kathleen Poon, Crimson Asia; LeAnn Tang; Jart Hassan, Jazz Ampang; Angela Yap, AKASAA; Master G Suresh; Juliana Heng, I Laugh KL; Yuzila Yusof, OrphanCare Foundation and Stevens Chan, Dialogue in the Dark;

And the individuals who voluntarily stepped forward to help us achieve a successful outcome for WSD-KL! These gems are Sarah Abedi, Amberina Gee, Suria Arul, Theodorus Clarence Tessensohn, Jamilah Samian, Angela Yap and Ritchie Ramesh, Ong Mei Lin, Renee Wong, Rathippriyah Balsan and Celina Joseph.

Two classmates from SMJK Katholik in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Lim Sue Wei & Chua Shi Lyn:

A teacher, Rathippriyah Balsan and her student, Vivan Shri Haridra (a.k.a. Michael Jackson):

And a couple, Lisa Zaiton & Terry Iskandar who had to stop their lovers’ quarrel in order to register for WSD-KL:

With a colorful collection of registrants, this event is going to be loads of fun and we know it!

10 Short of 200 Registrations

We are now inching closer to the magical 200-registration mark – having achieved 190 registrations yesterday.

One of our biggest WSD-KL supporters is the Cambridge Asia Gavel Club in Bandar Puteri in Puchong, Selangor – eleven Gaveliers are speaking on Friday @ UNIRAZAK.
